What the hell is a ferret?
There is an addition to our little zoo family in Nikki's house lately. not knowing what a Ferret is, I was bugging nikki for more and more description of this animal before it finallly appeared at our doorstep. Imagining it as a cross between a squirrel and a possum, I had my mind and body all ready for this ferret.well squirrel is cute, possum is unique.
When Nikki took it out from the cage for the first time, I screamed at how fast it moved, and how long the body is. It wriggled like a worm.I was in awe.Ferret is so energetic, and it moves as swiftly as wind,It hides and moves into every single hole it could find.
In the olden days, ferrets were used to hunt rabbits.so that should explain the cat food that Nikki has been feeding it everyday. It sleeps for about 14-18 hours. this animal, due to its high energy, requires a very patient carer.
here is a little clip on how quick this little thing moves.

Sisi the guinea pig
This is nikki's cute little creature. She has two cute, chubby guinea pigs that scurry hurriedly into their little hut when they see me walking past their cage. I presumed they are too shy to see Ms. Chrystella, eventhough I always lovingly stroke their bums whenever I get the chance too.
Unfortunately, her right paw was accidentally scratched to bleed when she took shower yesterday. So as soon as Ms Kah got home from uni today, she applied Dettol to disinfect the wound.
and applied corn starch after. Apparently, corn starch accelerates the process of blood clotting.
And now she's running happily in her cage again!
*She is definitely as healthy as you, as she is fed fresh chopped tomatoes and carrots everyday. Do you have an interesting piece of animal story to share?

My life revolves around dessert.I always feel that a meal is never complete without dessert.
A delicious cake would leave a lasting impression on those who enjoy it. The taste and smell would linger in your mind. , and sometimes, would leave you craving for it when you can't have it in your hands.
Apart from the Mars Bars cheesecake in Greco's ( in Crown casino, Melbourne or on Chapel street , South Yarra) and the thick italian hot chocs in Brunetti's. I am slowly running out of ideas of what to get or what to make for dessert... hopefully some one will come to my rescue..
picture shown: the assorted cakes in Brunetti's on lygon street. They have the best thick italian hot chocs served with marshmallows.

Hong Kong
What's the first thing you hear from friends when you mention the word " Hong Kong" . Answers ranges from great shopping , scrumptious food and Disney Land. Being brought up in a family that watches Cantonese
Hong Kong series as our favourite past time. The lifestyle of a Hongkie had long been subtly instilled in me.When i was there for five days, I had my three o'clock egg tart and milk tea ( nai cha) for my shopping break. And i would wake up in the morning telling mum what I was going to have that morning. What I reallly looked forward to each morning, was their breakfast set in those Hongkong style Char Chan Teng.
For HKD20.00, you get an awful lot of food- a toast, milk tea, omelette and a luncheon meat noodle.

Hong Kong without hesitance, is a great place to be
